Since Hawaii was Illegally annexed by the US government doesn't that make anyone born in Hawaii not a Citizen?

on july 7, 1898 Hawaii became a territory of the united states. on that day every person in hawaii became a us citizen. anyone born in hawaii since that date is a us citizen just like if they were born in new york or california.
