My boyfriend is 6 inches taller than me!?

We are both 13 and going to 8th grade. He is really nice and really likes me. I am a gymnast and have been one for 8 years. I am 4'11 and he is 5'5. We have a uniform at schoil and I can't wear heels or anything like that. My question is: How to not feel awkward about it and do guys like short, small girls and why or why not? Thanks in advance! P.s.- I am also small. I weigh about 80 pounds.
