How could I sell homemade gymnastics leotards?

As a gymnast, I know how hard it is to find that perfect leotard. So I was thinking, why not make/sell some of my own? I understand that they'd have to be made quite professionally looking before I could sell them for any real amount of money. I would just like to know what YOU think the necessary steps are... For example, buying material, advertising and those kinds of things. Thanks!!
